Aperture is one of the most important and limiting factors of photography. This course will help you understand the concepts of depth of field, its strengths and limitations. Aperture control allows photographers immense creative control for their subjects. In this course, you will learn how to make your images sharp and how to isolate your subjects. This course will focus on the lenses attached to your camera. 

This course will teach you how to:

  • Use depth of field effectively

  • Understand focal length of lenses and when to use them

  • Know what Bokeh is

  • Explore the concept of hyperfocal distances

  • Creative more interesting portraits and landscapes

  • Blur a background to isolate your portrait subjects

  • Use the Aperture priority mode on your camera
